Santa's coming to town

Father Christmas kicks off his fundraising drive in aid of life-saving charity Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance next week.

He will be swapping his sleigh for a truck as he rides through Sutton, Nonsuch, Cheam, North Cheam and Worcester Park.

There will be seven mobile street collections starting on Monday (December 2nd) at Sparrow Farm Road in Worcester Park, at 5.45pm.

This is the 26th year that Christmas collections have been held by Sutton Nonsuch Rotary Club who last year raised £8,300 for local charities.

This year they are supporting Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, Phab, Sutton Mental Health and Missing People.

Shoppers will also get the chance to meet Santa and his helpers at store collections outside Sainsbury’s in North Cheam and Tesco on the Sutton bypass.
